Why I want to fish and drink beer for the rest of my life.

We are in Fort Walton Beach.Â The sand is white, fine, and warm.Â The water is clear.

That looks like an awesome time. I’m relaxing just looking at the picture of the beach.
I am also noticing that Paul has some very strong genes.

What great pictures – they’re all good, but that one of Will just melts my heart. How could you ever say “No” to that precious face??? Then again, it does look a little bit like he’s planning in the back of his mind how to bury his sister up to her head in the sand…! Sound familiar, Pablo???

He probably would be plotting to bury Kate up to her neck in sand — if he had not discovered that Kate does not go within 10 feet of the water’s edge. As long as he plays close to the shore (which is he favorite spot, anyway… best place to snatch up clams and crabs) then she won’t follow him around parroting everything he does. So he is getting a few free minutes each day of not being shadowed in his every move.

It IS relaxing. I think mostly because Emmy, Kevin, Ana & Elliot were here with us!! It made things really fun to have more kids around to play together. Plus, that many more cooks and bottlewashers! Paul has been working off the balcony looking out onto the beautiful sea… he keeps asking me, “aren’t there immigrants being exploited here, too?!!??”

Fingers are all crossed for clear skies ahead!!
