So Paul took Will to our neighborhood <a href=\"http:\/\/www.auduboninstitute.org\/zoo\/\">Zoo<\/a>.  It was a quiet afternoon visit for them and they spent a great deal of time in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.auduboninstitute.org\/zoo\/tour_swamp.php\">bayou<\/a> nusery with the baby nutrias and snakes. (Unfortunately, those photos didn&#8217;t turn out.)  But here is Will with the giraffes!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">*Weezy and I love to talk shop.  During our talk yesterday I found out that she is very close with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyu.edu\/gsas\/dept\/anthro\/faculty\/rapp.html\">Rayna Rapp<\/a> (very awesome anthropologist and author of a book on amniocentesis that I think is fabulous called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/0415916453\/103-6791261-5018264?v=glance\">Testing Women Testing the Fetus<\/a>&#8220;) &#8212; that is TOO COOL<\/span>.<a href=\"http:\/\/picasa.google.com\/\" target=\"ext\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/pbp.gif\" alt=\"Posted by Picasa\" style=\"border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;\" align=\"middle\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday afternoon, I had a painting date with Weezy (our retired medical anthropologist neighbor*).
