Today was Fete Francaise, the yearly French Block Party that serves as the major fundraising event for scholarships for our kids’ school.\u00c2\u00a0 Each year, all the kids perform<\/a> at Fete.<\/p>\n

Remember how the last time<\/a> Will performed at school, he exceeded his previous stage-related penchants of yawning and nose-picking in favor of giving out wet-willies to other kids?\u00c2\u00a0 Right.\u00c2\u00a0 Well.<\/p>\n

I’ll show you how it went.\u00c2\u00a0 Let me set the stage, so to speak.<\/p>\n

There’s a lot of people there.<\/p>\n

And the kids are all lined up on stage with parents crowded in as close as possible.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Cameras are everywhere.\u00c2\u00a0 All kinds of\u00c2\u00a0 Serious.\u00c2\u00a0 Cameras.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And it’s Fete, the most important day of the year for the school, so folks are really into it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The kids are lined up on stage, ready to sing all sorts of deep philosophical things about Sartre and Voltaire.\u00c2\u00a0 All in French, of course, which is important because, as Fancy Nancy<\/a> says, “everything in French sounds Fancy.”<\/p>\n

So sweet.<\/p>\n

Wait.\u00c2\u00a0 Except.\u00c2\u00a0 What?\u00c2\u00a0 That kid on the end?<\/p>\n

Right, that one.<\/p>\n

Yes, that’s the same one.\u00c2\u00a0 Good.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m glad he can be seen from all sides, then.\u00c2\u00a0 Just so everyone can experience it.\u00c2\u00a0 Who is he, anyway?<\/p>\n

Oh, WILL.\u00c2\u00a0 Good thing he has that notebook so clearly marked.\u00c2\u00a0 Just so EVERYONE can know EXACTLY who he is.\u00c2\u00a0 No question, then.<\/p>\n
