— The Nutcracker Ballet.\u00c2\u00a0 Kate wanted to be taken on-stage to join in on the dancing fun.\u00c2\u00a0 Will admitting liking it after an hour of 6-year old whining about life.<\/p>\n

— The Teddy Bear Tea at the Roosevelt.\u00c2\u00a0 High marks for decor (see above) and tasty treats.\u00c2\u00a0 Price keeps it a purely blue-blood affair.\u00c2\u00a0 Friendly wait-staff helped us smuggle out uneaten goodies.\u00c2\u00a0 We can say we’ve been there, done that.<\/p>\n

— Lights at Lafrienere Park.\u00c2\u00a0 Original lights more interesting than the Copeland lights.\u00c2\u00a0 Free and open, a plus.\u00c2\u00a0 If you’re in the ‘burbs (say, because you need to buy car parts), it’s worth a few minutes of your time… and that’s all it will take.<\/p>\n

— Holiday Movie.\u00c2\u00a0 The Princess and the Frog rocked in about seven-hundred ways.<\/p>\n

— Packages mailed.\u00c2\u00a0 TODAY.\u00c2\u00a0 Used awesome FedEx discount.\u00c2\u00a0 Lots of lucky folks getting POST-Christmas surprises!<\/p>\n

UNCHECKED:<\/p>\n

— Holiday eats.\u00c2\u00a0 Paul bought a turkey today.\u00c2\u00a0 The kind that you have to put in the oven and cook.\u00c2\u00a0 Can someone dial 9 and then 1 and just be ready…?<\/p>\n

— Presents wrapped.\u00c2\u00a0 EVERYTHING for the kids is hidden and unwrapped.\u00c2\u00a0 We’re hoping for an early bedtime so that we can get to work.<\/p>\n

— Christmas cake.\u00c2\u00a0 Kate is still begging for a “Christmas Cake” — this is the child who doesn’t even LIKE cake.\u00c2\u00a0 I must remember to not leave Southern Living magazines around where she can see them.<\/p>\n
