\nSomehow over the last two months we’ve carved time for Paul to work on the outbuilding.<\/p>\n

<\/a>He finished the siding (all except for that top header in the front) and the siding along the back and sides.\u00c2\u00a0 FINALLY.\u00c2\u00a0 The piles of hardie in the backyard are gone.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/center><\/p>\n

<\/a>This is what the back of the outbuilding looks like from the roof of the shed that belongs to the house behind ours.\u00c2\u00a0 Close quarters.\u00c2\u00a0 Let’s hope they have a termite contract, too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/center><\/p>\n

<\/a>Then Paul got to work on barn-style doors.\u00c2\u00a0 So that we could stop the rain from coming into the opened section of the building.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/center><\/p>\n

<\/a>Here’s a newly hung door.<\/p>\n

Ah, who I am kidding?\u00c2\u00a0 This is totally a beefcake shot.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Here are the doors.<\/p>\n

And here is the question: what color should paint them?\u00c2\u00a0 (Or, should we stain them?)<\/p>\n

(Note… I’m partial to paint because we’ve had bad luck with stain.\u00c2\u00a0 But I’m easily persuaded otherwise.)<\/p>\n

<\/a>The caveat.\u00c2\u00a0 This is the back of the house with the color that will eventually, one day, cover the entire house.\u00c2\u00a0 And outbuilding.\u00c2\u00a0 At least, this was the plan.\u00c2\u00a0 But, like I said, we could be persuaded by particularly fetching arguments.<\/p>\n

Oh, and the color is more blue than aqua, despite what the photograph tells you.<\/p>\n

Anyone have ideas or suggestions?<\/p>\n
