my continued obsession with shutter speed.\u00c2\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t a busy afternoon, so there weren&#8217;t a lot of people walking by to get a group (which was my hope).\u00c2\u00a0 The ducks in the back are in honor of the book &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Make_Way_for_Ducklings\">Make Way for Ducklings<\/a>,&#8221; by beloved New England children&#8217;s author and illustrator, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Robert_McCloskey\">Robert McCloskey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4590\" title=\"jf-1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/jf-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/jf-1.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/jf-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><br \/>\nIt was one of my favorite books growing up (I still call all pairs of Mallards Mr. and Mrs. Mallard) &#8212; but my absolute favorite McCloskey book is &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/One-Morning-Maine-Robert-McCloskey\/dp\/0670526274\">One Morning in Maine<\/a>.&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 It was one of the only books I had where a young girl is the protagonist.\u00c2\u00a0 She goes hunting for clams, loses a tooth, and takes a boat trip to town with her little sister and father.\u00c2\u00a0 As a child, I adored it &#8212;
