{"id":3506,"date":"2008-12-29T19:56:14","date_gmt":"2008-12-30T02:56:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/?p=3506"},"modified":"2008-12-29T19:56:14","modified_gmt":"2008-12-30T02:56:14","slug":"sidewalk-chalk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/2008\/12\/29\/sidewalk-chalk\/","title":{"rendered":"Sidewalk Chalk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was a big play day with the kids.\u00c2\u00a0 Inside, outside, over, under, there and back again.<\/p>\n<p>Some tidbits:<\/p>\n<p>To &#8220;<strong>xtroy<\/strong>&#8221; something means to annihilate it.\u00c2\u00a0 As in, &#8220;Mommy, I need to use my light saver to <strong>xtroy <\/strong>these flowers to get some more points.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When one is tired from riding a big wheel while Mommy jogs alongside, the appropriate phrase to rest is, &#8220;I need to stop and take a <strong>breathe<\/strong>.&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 (Not breath, but <strong>breathe<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 Verbs are the new nouns.)<\/p>\n<p>To &#8220;crams&#8221; is to get lost, not to be confused with the similar word, &#8220;scram&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 As in, &#8220;Tell those dogs to <strong>crams <\/strong>so that we can have the sidewalk to ourselves.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Towards the end of the afternoon, I got artsy with the 50mm.\u00c2\u00a0 Here in Mobile, I don&#8217;t have access to any photo editing, so these are just the straight shots&#8230; no edits.\u00c2\u00a0 I was playing with the highest aperture available to my beloved 50mm (a dreamy 1.4\/f) and most of the pictures are at 1\/80 or faster with 100 ISO. With the 50mm on the cropped sensor (1.6x on the 400D), there is a 35mm equivalent of around 81mm.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3492\"
