(and other) Days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1978:<\/p>\n<p>My brother, Skipper (now answering to his true name, Tim) and me.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m a little older than Kate is right now in this picture.\u00c2\u00a0 Billerica, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3465\" title=\"img_0712\" expected to marry well right out of high school.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3466\" title=\"img_0713\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/img_0713.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"355\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1979:<\/p>\n<p>Skip and I with our first big wheels.\u00c2\u00a0 I rode mine until all the stickers fell off or faded to white and there were holes in the wheels.\u00c2\u00a0 The big wheel Skip is on is different than the Hot Wheels tricycle he rode onto the 4-lane high way in the middle of rush hour traffic while my Dad was painting the house.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3467\" title=\"img_0721\" set under our tree.\u00c2\u00a0 Paul and I have that garland (Filene&#8217;s basement special &#8212; my Mom worked nights at Filene&#8217;s).\u00c2\u00a0 My Dad gave the trains to my Uncle, who sold them (d&#8217;oh!)\u00c2\u00a0 This Christmas, my Dad and brother put together parts of the same train, bought used over the past few months on ebay.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1980:<\/p>\n<p>Still in Billerica!\u00c2\u00a0 I was a Strawberry Shortcake girl.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ve seen that Strawberry and her buds are back&#8230; but taller, thinner, shapelier, and with makeup.\u00c2\u00a0 Ugh.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3469\" title=\"img_0733\" Betty&#8217;s house in Woodstock, VA.\u00c2\u00a0 That&#8217;s my cousin Becky in Grandma&#8217;s lap.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3464\"
