{"id":3322,"date":"2008-12-19T23:55:26","date_gmt":"2008-12-20T06:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/?p=3322"},"modified":"2008-12-20T14:28:33","modified_gmt":"2008-12-20T21:28:33","slug":"photohunt-wide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/2008\/12\/19\/photohunt-wide\/","title":{"rendered":"Photohunt: Wide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tnchick.com\/pshunt\">Wide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Wow, this kind of photography assignment could be dangerous.\u00c2\u00a0 Where and what (who?) can I capture as wide?\u00c2\u00a0 (My mind panics thinking of the picture of my backside Will took with my camera while I we were decorating the tree last night &#8212; mental note, deduct fee from college savings as retribution.)<\/p>\n<p>In this case, what HAVE I captured that speaks to WIDE?\u00c2\u00a0 Just saying the word makes me think of the Dixie Chick&#8217;s song, Wide Open Spaces, of which I only know the words to that particular phrase in the song.\u00c2\u00a0 And I love me some &#8216;chicks, but whoa, I just can&#8217;t get past it while on That Word.<\/p>\n<p>So &#8220;wide&#8221; in terms of &#8220;space&#8221; was on my mind as I hunted photos.\u00c2\u00a0 And this is what I found.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3323\" title=\"wide-2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/wide-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/wide-2.jpg 1893w, http:\/\/www.coldspaghetti.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/wide-2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wide, open, everything in front of them totally and completely open to them and for them.<\/p>\n<p>Paul and Will, flying a kite, Fort Walton Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Beach.<\/p>\n<p>No more Dixie Chicks in my head now, as my thoughts have switched to the all-consuming question of why is it, again, that we don&#8217;t live there?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wide.
