So this Tuesday, at around 11:40am, we walked out the door, locked it, walked to the car and were getting in, when Paul said, &#8220;Where&#8217;s Kate?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Oh, that&#8217;s right,<\/span> said my brain, recalling out of the fog, <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">I have TWO children.  <\/span>It&#8217;s amazing to me how easily this fact slips out of my mind. <a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger2\/150\/1123\/1600\/IMG_1453.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger2\/150\/1123\/400\/IMG_1453.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Other parents reassure me that they, too, sometimes forget about their second child.
