However, we are dealing with some firsts:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Will&#8217;s first &#8220;real&#8221; illness: an ear infection in his left ear. Mom&#8217;s intutition was right on&#8230; I am *so* glad I insisted on keeping him home from school until I spoke to the pediatrician&#8230; and I am *so* glad she suggested bringing him in for an appointment! Go me for trusting my instinct that something felt wrong.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; And likewise, his first prescription! For amoxicillin&#8230; the same thing I am on right now.
