I forget how I stumbled onto you (maybe via Magpie Musing?), but I’ve been lurking here for about a month. I’m dissertating parent too, so I’ve been particularly fond of posts that discuss that. I totally understand the post dissertation plans — I’ve got a list myself and it is HUGE. I love the way your personality comes through in your posts. Congratulations on five years!

I can’t believe it’s five years! I’ve watched Will and Kate grow, learned from you, armchair traveled while reading your blog and stayed connected to the city my heart loves in a deep way I can’t explain. You have done so much in that time and if nothing else you should get this printed year by year for the kiddos.

My favorite post is still Almost 2…Years Away. I’m impressed with 5 years! And I love NOLA art…I was lucky enough to visit before the things, and have two prints I picked up hanging in my downstairs.

Five years! That is impressive. I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog, watching your kids grow and be silly. It’s so fun, and it inspires me to (one day) maintain some sort of documentation of all the milestones of my kids’ growing-up years!
