This is a "let's click "File," then print and save" blog entry.

Too many professors have lost their sense of perspective, and it clouds their judgment when advising students. I didn't understand this before I became a graduate student, but oh boy do I understand it now.

This is a wonderful post. I confess I don't often read mommy bloggers since I'm childless but it does irk me to hear snobby, derisive remarks about them. It's so much better for women to be supportive of each other regardless of their life choices.Unfortunately, the first generation of "women's libbers" (a term I hate) had a long, hard fight to get us where we are today and I think perhaps they went overboard in trying to prove they were equal to men by rejecting the very qualities unique to women. I thought things had changed and it pains me to read this and realize the sisterhood of women is still a goal unreached.

Thanks for posting the link to Just Posts - it looks like my kinda blog. :) I intend to visit the other links as well.
