One of my internet friends is having a baby in Buffalo, NY today. Having induction. Since she’s of irish extraction I found that old birth babtism ritual they used to use to send to her. Something to do with handfuls of water, wavelets, three times three. Wonder if anyone still does that, or the sky, sea, and earth “mothering” ritual.

I painted that right before Will was born. It was suppose to be a series of two. The second painting was suppose to be babe in arms. But it's grown on me as a solo piece.
